Winners of the Cawthron Marlborough Environment Awards are being announced at the Marlborough Events Centre on Thursday 20 April. Wine Marlborough is the proud sponsor of the Wine Industry category and we're looking forward to learning more about the efforts of all those businesses and community groups working hard to protect the environment and use resources and energy efficiently.

Entries to the Wine Industry category this year include: 

• Wither Hills Winery - Rārangi restoration wetlands

• Smart Machine Company – OXIN Autonomous tractor for vineyard work

• Repost – Giving new life to broken vineyard posts

• Patriarch Vineyard - Planting to restore Wairau wetland

Tickets are on sale now through the Awards website www.cmea.org.nz. Anyone interested or involved in environmental management and best practice should grab a ticket and come along.
