MWW Master Class Series #1 - The Winemaker's Bench

A unique master class experience where guests are given an insight into the winemaking process.  This event will include a blending exercise giving MWW guests the opportunity to create and taste their very own blend.

3:00 - 5:00pm

MWW Master Class Series #2 - Marlborough White Wine and Cheese Pairing

As the Marlborough industry evolves so too does the New Zealand cheese industry.  Explore the art of pairing through a tasting and comparisons of six New Zealand cheeses paired with Marlborough white wines.

6:30 - 10:30pm

THE TWILIGHT GARDEN PARTY

The Twilight Garden Party will be held in secret corners of the Timara Lodge grounds, with areas dedicated to specific food and wine matches.

THE MARLBOROUGH VALLEYS ODYSSEY
The Pinot Noir Experience

Guests are whisked off to a remote location where some of Marlborough’s best Pinot Noir fruit is sourced. They are treated to a vertical tasting of Marlborough Pinot Noir incorporating the sub-regional story and showing the varying flavour profiles within the different valleys.

The Evolution of Sauvignon Blanc

Local winemakers are on hand to take guests through the Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc story, uncovering why its unique flavor can only be found in Marlborough, looking at the three main sub regions and discovering the diversity of this grape.

The Long Lunch
A popular event featuring all Marlborough fresh produce and showcasing the region’s aromatics – in a long lunch format.  This event will also feature a Pinot Noir corner.

The Groups will switch and attend the 2^nd tasting Odyssey.

6:30pm - 12:30pm

THE MARLBOROUGH GOURMET FEAST

Des Harris of Clooney Restaurant in Auckland will design and create a unique and delicious 4 course menu for the finale dinner on Saturday night, which will take place within the magical grounds of Timara Lodge. Marlborough's finest Library wines will be served throughout the evening.

Choose from two wonderful events on Sunday, exploring either the Kenepuru Sounds or Queen Charlotte Sounds

THE SOUNDS INDULGENCE CRUISE

Travel out on the Kenepuru Sounds, visit a mussel farm & indulge in local seafood served with a selection of Marlborough sparkling wines and new vintage Sauvignon Blanc.

WINE, ART AND NATURE AT LOCHMARA

Take a short bus ride to Picton, where you will cruise the Queen Charlotte Sound to Lochmara Lodge for art, nature, and a Sounds-inspired wine matched lunch.
