Vance is originally from Wellington where he split his time between central government and the private sector. He had the good sense to marry a born and bred Marlburian and move to sunny Marlborough a few years ago. Vance loves getting into the outdoors with his young kids, supporting West Ham United and dabbling in a spot of home brewing. He enjoys all wines, especially Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Rosé and has a geeky interest in wild fermentation.
